Hello! Simply Celeste is a small business run by myself (Amy) and my husband (Pete) out of North Port, Florida. We are so glad you’re here and would love to share our story of who we are and why we do what we do.
Pete and I grew up in Milwaukee, WI and met when I was 16 and he was 18. We became high school sweethearts, had our ups and downs, but ultimately were destined to be together. In our early 20’s, we realized that life is too short to be anything but happy. With that, we made a decision to leave the Midwest and head to sunny Florida. We moved with a 10 month old baby, a golden retriever named Buddi, and a big clunky station wagon.
That seems like oh so long ago, as we’ve since raised 2 boys, loved and lost a couple of dogs, lived through hurricane threats, and watched countless beautiful sunsets. But I regret nothing and still believe that life is too short to be anything but happy. And through it all, no matter what, we have to simply focus on what is meaningful and spend time with those we love. And when you do that, life can be pretty amazing!
Simply Celeste was created on those fundamental principals. Every product we create has a story behind its purpose in our own lives and is made with love. As you now know, I’ve been following my heart since I was 16 (though we won’t discuss exactly how long ago that was), spent my life with a man who sees my passions and dreams almost as clearly as I do, and now we want to share it with you! So, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… life is pretty amazing!
